Within my belief system: you cleaved off from the big old beam of liovght where everything was comfy and perfect because you decided to give yourself a mission to accomplish on this ol' marble of mud and grass...
Basically, you came from heaven to earth for the explicit purpose of experiencing pain so that you would have the opportunity to LOVE through the pain.
WHY?????
Because you volunteered to do the impossible! You volunteered to improve on perfection.
Your little chunk of soul said "Ya know what is awesome? Everything! Love! Light! Etc! But.... can we turn it up to 11?
Yes.
Untested love is puppy love. Pure. Innocent. Beautiful. Easy. How can love be improved? It must be strengthened. It must be tested.
How?
pain
Inescapable pain does something to YOU (the real you the you underneath all the other yous.)
It changes you.
Like nothing else can.
Emotional pain.
Physical pain.
Doesn't matter.
The pain is the opportunity to try to love through the pain.
And if you can do that. You have improved perfection.
